im looking to get new skates but i dont know what to get :( i mostly ride park and vert, can anyone recommend anything?
Get some K2's. I have the K2 Nemisis and i love them. They have HUGE souls and negative that are sweet as hell and pretty fast once brocken in and you can have the buckles pretty lose for park and street and with a few quick ratchets of the buckle your ready for vert, can get much better then that.

i cant afford the k2 nemesis, so im going to but some 2004 k2 fattys cause there only £80. hopefully theyll be decent for vert, because thats all i need them for.

Sam I just saw you are from England. Rob and Rich Parker are from there they might beable to help you out some time.
that would be cool if they ever went y2sk8 and i was there as well.

Great minds think alike. Nemesis are one helluva skate. do you have yellow ables on yours?
oh, and Nems aren't that expensive anymore; you can get them brand new for $120 US at skates.com , and they come with fiziks; or you could get them for $90 stock. well...i'm not sure about that now, because it's been a while.
what at y2sk8 park?
ever heard of the deathrail?
it's this long, sick, walkway rail (relatively low), with a slight 5-12ft drop beneath the rail.

NO i have black fiziks for when i ride vert, and omar wysong freestyle frames for street and park, though there about to break. UHMW dousn't like big drops, where the space and bolt go thropugh the frame is streching and cracking so i dont knnow how much more abuse i can throw at them. I wanted to get the Shrijn Nemesis but i got a good deal on the Normal Nemesis. I just can't wait till next becuase the Yasutoko Brothers are getting there own Pro model from K2. It's like the Shrijn Nemesis but light as hell.
hey i could start saving for the yasutoko pro skates... i just hope theyll be alot easier to find than the nemesis skates in england

rolling sucks. sorry, but it really does. I got bored in a week. Now someone make a good rollerblading game that goes to the whole world!
give me a THPS or TH underground; loose the board...or even better: release it for PC, hack it, and mod the game so that you wear skates and rename all the tricks.....it could happen
thing is you have to be smart for that and I suck at computers so I'll stick with PS Tony hawks...skateboardings fun

Ey ;) THPS is the closes I get to 6 foot airs. hehe.
I'm interisted in getting new skates, in a couple of months when I truly have money for it. Primarily I'm also looking vert monstly.
What do your skates need to be for vert? What characteristics am I looking for in a skate? Anyone got opinions ?
And maybe references to good skates for vert ?

First try and get your hands on some fiziks frames, there hard to come by but worth it. THen i would suggest K2.

Yeah was reading around and seems k2 looks like a good bet.
This fiziks stuff looks interisting. I'm not 100% sure, but it's replacement frames ? for the bottom of your skates? with suspension ?
That's pretty funky. Is it easy to replace existing frames?
And well, I saw mor than one set of fiziks, any recommendations?
