Exile wheels is claiming to be the future in wheels. they are like a car rim and tire. You keep the rim which is aluminium and change the tire. I heard they are good but how can it be good when you have to stretch it over the rim seems sketchy.

hey just saw this link on another site www.exileskate.com , looks like there will be a fair bit of movement between the tire and the rim, so might not be that fast, but hey at least they r trying new things rather than just buying old moulds and printing their own graphics on them like most new wheel companies!

on the plus side, we'll be one step closer to having spinning rims on our skates

The industry changes, and sometimes things that are preety simple now, were preety unreal in yesterdays. May be that is the stuff, whick i'm talking about!
Perhaps they are the future in wheels:)

Exiles are in at revolution skate shop. Im thinking of getting a pair to see how they are.
i just read on the site that you acually microwave the wheels and then put in the rim, weird. Now i really want to try them to test them out.

that'd be a sick setup to have aluminum wheels, and aluminum plates...like

limited edition silver & black grob able2 frames, any boot that's mostly black, aluminum soul plates, and black 9mm wheels.....although it would only be for show...unless someone were able to find those gold colored USD souls. then you'd be blingin'
