This trick took me some time to learn, but now i have been doing them for a few years i find them a nice trick to warm up with, as because you plant your hand down it is easy to gauge your distance from the ramp. I learnt switch ones and natural ones in exactly the same way. For spinning to the left i started by going about 4ft under the coping and throwing my head and right shoulder down and to the left so my feet came around and over my head, but i stayed in close to the ramp to let my back slide around on the transition, this made sure that when i was upside down i was facing out from the coping. i then started to plant my right hand down at the start of the trick. Once i was comftable doing all this i started to gradually do them higher and push away from the ramp a little with my hand (if u do this gradually then its safer). When you are upside down it is fairly easy to see your landing and therefor when you get one where you feel like you are the right distance out from the ramp then its just a case of commiting to the landing.

I've seen Shane go half cab (fakie 180) then 540 eggplant so it was like afakie 7 with a eggplant. Those are pretty sick.
