the otherday i was fulling around just trying to improve on a flat 5 but i decided to break down my rotation and start working on improving it. well i boosted my rotation around for a 720 close to landing it. but when i was trying it i screwed up on my rotation about 3 times and my friend caught it on camera. Well i threww my body a little more to the left than usual and ended up rotating a 720 corkscrew. i was suprised but i still have yet to land it. Everytime i go to land it the side of my HAffeys bottom out and i slip out everytime.
Im ok with my haffeys in all but i bought them more for street than vert because of the wider sole plate. but thats starting to get on my nerves.
I was wondering if switching to some Dre Powells or maybe some G3's maybe that would help a little.
just give me your opinion.

I'm riding on powells now they are really light. Not a lot of people like the Juggs though. I thought they where ok but the left one hurt my foot. I'm happy with the soul and royale space on them.
I'm riding K2's and i love them, though i havn't been able to take them to a vert ramp yet.

what are you talking about wider soul plate, they haffeys have a smaller soul plate then razors do. I love my K2's because of the larger soul plate there awsome.

Go with Razors. They're good. I used TRS and then I switched to K2 and Then to Raozrs and I like the Razors best. They're stiff, slide well, and good for vert or street. I changed my buckle to a Salomon one though.
I hate the razor buckles. I rode the Jeff Stockwell skate for about a year and i replaced the buckles around 10 times for each skate.

I agree the razors buckles break really quickly. How do the solomon buckles hold up?

well it kind of works both ways for me cause on my remz i some times skate without a cuff.
and even when i have a cuff there not buckled most of the time.

That's hardcore. No cuff on vert. Yikes!
You will need one as you get better.
At buffalo i skate the Haffeys without the cuff and with freestly frames
